I have been a local in Townsville for over 20 years where I first discovered the underwater world in 1990. I have been diving locally ever since and such was my enthusiasm, I became a dive-master in 1994 to work part time for local dive operators. It was in 2003 that I made a lifestyle choice to follow my dreams after 23 years employment with Telstra to become a full time PADI dive instructor.

Having come from a professional background I understand the concept that you get what you pay for. My business is therefore dependent on my reputation and I am not prepared to cut corners or compromise that reputation to offer cheap prices. It's a little like the concept of brain surgery, would you want the cheapest or the best?

With this in mind, I began Dreamtime Divers with the inspiration of being different by offering quality, by being exclusive and by taking the time with customers to provide a level of safety and satisfaction not yet experienced in the local industry. Being flexible with courses tailored to your needs opens the door for locals to enjoy what's on our doorstep.

As a diver, your first impressions and experiences determine your level of commitment to the sport and I am dedicated to making this an experience you will never forget. My prime motivation is my passion for teaching and I do what I do for the love of diving, not the economics.
